Depth-Oriented Trauma Therapy for Lasting Change

If you’ve tried talk therapy, read the self-help books, or powered through with sheer will—but still feel stuck in old patterns—there’s nothing wrong with you. It just means your mind, body, and nervous system need a different kind of support.

I offer depth-oriented, trauma-informed therapy in Berkeley, CA, blending somatic practices, EMDR, Brainspotting, parts work, polyvagal techniques, and attachment-based relational healing. These approaches reach the deeper layers where trauma, anxiety, and shame often get stored—so you can finally shift what’s been holding you back.

Somatic Trauma Therapy

Trauma isn’t just “in your head”—it lives in your body. Through somatic mindfulness and Hakomi practices, we’ll slow down and listen to what your body already knows. Together we’ll release old survival patterns, restore a sense of safety, and help you feel at home in yourself again.

EMDR Therapy

Sometimes the past feels stuck on repeat. EMDR therapy helps your brain reprocess painful memories so they lose their grip. You don’t forget what happened—but you no longer feel controlled by it. Many clients find EMDR creates a sense of freedom that talk therapy alone never reached.

Brainspotting

When you feel something in your body but can’t quite explain it, Brainspotting helps access that hidden place. By using the mind-body connection through eye positions, we reach trauma stored deep in the nervous system and allow it to move, release, and integrate.

Parts Work (IFS-Informed)

Inside all of us are “parts”—the inner critic, the overachiever, the protector, the tender child. Instead of pushing them away, we’ll listen to and befriend your parts. Through this work, you’ll learn how to move from self-blame into self-compassion, and experience your core Self—calm, confident, and whole.

Polyvagal-Informed Tools

Your nervous system runs the show. Using polyvagal techniques, I’ll help you understand your survival responses (fight, flight, freeze, shut down) and build practical tools for regulation—so you can live with more choice and less reactivity.

Relational & Attachment Healing

At the root, many wounds come from relationships—so it makes sense they’re healed in relationship too. I bring warmth, empathy, and authenticity into our work together, helping you heal attachment wounds and build healthier, more secure connections with yourself and others.

Am I the Right Fit for You?

I may be the right therapist if you are:

  • High-achieving and self-reflective—successful on the outside, but feeling stuck in cycles of anxiety, burnout, or self-doubt.

  • Ready to go deeper—you want more than surface-level coping; you’re ready for real transformation.

  • Spiritually inclined or open-minded—perhaps integrating a psychedelic journey, spiritual awakening, or a major life shift.

  • A highly sensitive person (HSP) or empath wanting to embrace sensitivity as strength, not a burden.

  • Part of the Global Majority or first-generation, navigating identity, belonging, and the impact of marginalization.

  • Longing to set boundaries without guilt, release internalized shame, and finally feel at home in your own skin.

If any of this resonates, chances are you’re ready for the kind of therapy that doesn’t just help you cope—it helps you transform.
